CLASSES at tru PILATES
Stretching and Flexibility ($27-30 per class): The absolute BEST way to decrease stress and muscular tension in the body, improving flexbility, fluidity and grace. Classes are 60 minutes and focus on areas we all tend to carry tension as well as the SPECIFIC areas the participants would like to focus on. Perfect for executives, athletes or anyone carrying stress in his or her body.
Pilates Reformer (Apparatus) Classes ($27-$30 per class): We have many levels of our Pilates classes, geared to strengthen you, improve your posture, rehab an injury without adding bulk to your frame! The perfect combo on lengthening and strengthening of different pieces of Pilates apparatus and other toys (Pilates reformers, chairs, arcs, half towers and BOSU, TRX, etc) The classes are also 60 minutes in length and limited to 6 people so you get the attention you deserve.
Monkey gym and Monkeying Around on the Mat ($27-30 per class): These classes put the FUN in to FUNCTIONAL strengthening! Using warm up exercises performed by gymnasts as well as assistance bands and other props, we will help you get INSANELY strong at the right pace so you will condition your tendons, ligaments and muscles and NOT GET HURT! Based on work by Coach Sommer www.gymnasticsbodies.com and Kit Laughlin www.kitlaughlin.com, we focus on pushing, pulling, squatting activities so you walk out feeling like a super hero! Strong and ready to take on your universe, whatever that might mean!
Pilates Mat Classes ($15-18 per class): Based on Joseph Pilates' original mat exercises, designed to give you more strength from the inside out! We will focus on abdominals, back, side, glute and shoulder stabilizers, all while having a blast!
